This privacy policy applies to the Quisas Android app (package name: com.duncled.quisas) developed by duncled.

Information We Collect

Quisas collects only the information you voluntarily provide:

• Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name. Anonymous guest usage is also supported without any account data.
• Reading data: Your favorites list, reading progress, and badges are stored locally and optionally synced to Firebase Firestore if you are signed in.
• Reading preferences: Font size and theme (Standard / Sepia / Night) are stored locally via DataStore.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to power the app's features — saving your reading progress, favorites, preferences, and syncing across devices when signed in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party.

Third-Party Services

Quisas uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and Firestore database for cloud sync. Firebase's privacy policy applies to data handled by these services.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): AdMob is used to display banner ads within the app. AdMob may collect device information (such as Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). See Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
• Coil: Used to load story cover images from external URLs. No personal data is collected by this library.

Data Storage

Your reading data (favorites, progress) is stored locally using Room database. Reading preferences (font size, theme) are stored locally using DataStore. When signed in, data is additionally synced to Firebase Firestore for cross-device access. You can delete your data at any time by removing the app or contacting us.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@duncled.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Quisas is intended for young adult readers (ages 13+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
