This privacy policy applies to the Prophets (قصص الأنبياء) Android app (package name: com.duncled.prophetstories) developed by duncled. For the duncled website itself, see the website privacy policy.

Information We Collect Directly

Prophets does not collect, store, or share any personal information directly. The app functions entirely offline for its core features. No user accounts, registration, analytics, or tracking services are implemented by the developer. All app data — including bookmarks, quiz scores, and personal reflections — is stored locally on your device using Room database and never leaves your device.

Internet Permission

The app requests the INTERNET permission for two purposes:

• Optional Gemini AI feature — Only used if you explicitly provide a Gemini API key in the app settings. No data is transmitted by default.
• Ad serving — Required by Google AdMob to fetch and display advertisements.

Advertising (AdMob)

This app uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may automatically collect certain information to deliver ads, including:

• Device advertising ID (AAID / IDFA)
• IP address
• Device type and operating system version
• General location (not precise GPS)
• App interactions and usage data for ad performance

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not access or store this data.

Contextual, Non-Personalized Ads

This app is configured for family-safe advertising: every ad request is tagged as child-directed and capped at the "G" (General audiences) digital content label. Only contextual, non-personalized ads are shown — ads are not tailored to individual interests or past behavior, including for adult users.

Even for non-personalized ads, Google AdMob may still process the data listed above (advertising ID, IP address, device type, general location, and app interaction data) for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and fraud prevention, in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

GDPR / EEA Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may be shown a consent form before ads are displayed, as required by law. Because this app only serves contextual, non-personalized ads (see above), your consent choice does not enable interest-based advertising in this app.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for children and families. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), all advertising requests in this app are tagged as child-directed, only contextual family-safe ads are shown, and no interest-based advertising is used. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can delete it.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect any data processed through the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
