This privacy policy applies to the Prophets (قصص الأنبياء) Android app (package name: com.duncled.prophetstories) developed by duncled.

Information We Collect Directly

Prophets does not collect, store, or share any personal information directly. The app functions entirely offline for its core features. No user accounts, registration, analytics, or tracking services are implemented by the developer. All app data — including bookmarks, quiz scores, and personal reflections — is stored locally on your device using Room database and never leaves your device.

Internet Permission

The app requests the INTERNET permission for two purposes:

• Optional Gemini AI feature — Only used if you explicitly provide a Gemini API key in the app settings. No data is transmitted by default.
• Ad serving — Required by Google AdMob to fetch and display advertisements.

Advertising (AdMob)

This app uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may automatically collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:

• Device advertising ID (AAID / IDFA)
• IP address
• Device type and operating system version
• General location (not precise GPS)
• App interactions and usage data for ad performance

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not access or store this data.

Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads

AdMob may serve personalized ads based on your interests. You can control this:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Within the app: You may see a consent dialog if you are in the EEA or UK.

GDPR / EEA Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you will be asked to provide consent for personalized advertising before ads are served. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via your device settings.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can delete it.
